Force of Displacement

Force of Displacement explores the same themes as my book Paranoaic Fantasy using printmaking processes. In the process of developing the book, I experimented with different types of mark making through monotype and ways of combining that with my photographic imagery. Force of Displacement pushed me to work with photographic source images using entirely analog processes; I created a base image using drypoint engraving on plexiglass and continued to experiment with monotype to create layers of color on top.
